colors of a life without color

orchards filled with scarlet carnations
like rubies shining in the firmament,
dazzles made of strawberry and cherry

daisies of gold shining in the meadows
of wheat and oats, hives of honey in a bitterness
silent as the reaper traveling through the woods

heaths punctuated by tulips black like darkness
of coal clouds charging the winter bonanza,
piling up cents to survive another day

fuchsia brightening the realm of petals
reflection of sky and sea as if they were sapphires
made magic of an Asgardian sorceress

chestnut tree flowers offering their fruit
on warm autumn nights, feeling the lack of a voice
that call me back to a life that I never lived
